Cornelius “Lee” Alig is a sixth-generation Hoosier and a highly regarded figure in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and real estate development. Based in Indianapolis, Lee has spent over four decades guiding transformative projects that prioritize design integrity, civic value, and sustainable growth. After earning degrees from Tulane University and Columbia University, Lee became a licensed architect and went on to co-found HDG (now Ratio) Architects and Mansur Real Estate Services. His work spans commercial, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments throughout Indiana and neighboring states. Lee’s reputation is built on his ability to integrate zoning regulations, historic preservation, and strategic planning into practical solutions for thriving communities.
